Job Duties::

  • Possibility to work on a habilitation project; participation in research projects, scientific publications
  • Teaching at the intersection of migration and labor sociology, care, welfare state and gender studies, social theory and capitalism analysis, supervision and examination activities
  • Participation in study matters and in departmental and institute-related tasks
  • Scientific talks, co-organization of public and academic events

Your Qualifications::

  • The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree in sociology and/or social sciences
  • Research and teaching experience in migration sociology and two of these fields: Sociology of work, care, welfare state and gender studies
  • Interest in social theory and the analysis of capitalism
  • Experience in applying for and conducting qualitative research projects
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (level C1)
