Job Duties::

Collaboration on research topics in the field of chemical process engineering
Execution and evaluation of measurements as well as maintenance of laboratory equipment
Planning, preparation and independent execution of experiments
Documentation, analysis and interpretation of test results
Assistance and training of new employees
Organization of chemicals (purchasing, administration and disposal)
Participation in innovative research approaches as well as support in project and application applications (national and international)
Close cooperation with colleagues from the Johannes Kepler University Linz as well as external university institutions and institutes
Active contribution to the expansion of research activities

Your Qualifications::

Training as a chemical-technical assistant or comparable qualification
Sound knowledge of laboratory work
Experience in working with international partners is an advantage
Programming or scripting skills are a plus, as well as knowledge of Arduino or Raspberry Pi
Very good written and spoken German and English skills (C1; essential for communication, publications and cooperations)
High motivation for cooperative research and interdisciplinary cooperation
Independent, structured way of working as well as the ability to think critically and co-develop new experimental and model-based methods

What We Offer::

On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 2,620.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: IIb)
