Job Duties::

  • Collaboration on research topics in the field of chemical process engineering
  • Execution and evaluation of measurements as well as maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Planning, preparation and independent execution of experiments
  • Documentation, analysis and interpretation of test results
  • Assistance and training of new employees
  • Organization of chemicals (purchasing, administration and disposal)
  • Participation in innovative research approaches as well as support in project and application applications (national and international)
  • Close cooperation with colleagues from the Johannes Kepler University Linz as well as external university institutions and institutes
  • Active contribution to the expansion of research activities

Your Qualifications::

  • Training as a chemical-technical assistant or comparable qualification
  • Sound knowledge of laboratory work
  • Experience in working with international partners is an advantage
  • Programming or scripting skills are a plus, as well as knowledge of Arduino or Raspberry Pi
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills (C1; essential for communication, publications and cooperations)
  • High motivation for cooperative research and interdisciplinary cooperation
  • Independent, structured way of working as well as the ability to think critically and co-develop new experimental and model-based methods

What We Offer::

  • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 2,620.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: IIb)
