Job Duties::

Independent research in the field of experimental Surface Science, utilizing the group’s existing infrastructure and expertise (surface analysis in ultra-high vacuum, scanning probe microscopy, LEED, PEEM, optical spectroscopy)
Active collaboration and support concerning the ongoing research projects
Development of new research ideas for scientific projects and proposals for external funding
Involvement in teaching, including the supervision of bachelor, master, and doctoral students
Participation in administrative tasks at the institute and the university

Your Qualifications::

The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate / Ph.D. degree in Physics or Chemistry
Profound knowledge and experience in the field of experimental Surface Science
Excellent English language skills (B2 level), knowledge of German would be appreciated
