The Faculty of Medicine at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) has successfully established itself as an innovative hub for medical education and research. The Department of Health Services Research and Gender Medicine is seeking a university assistant with a diploma or master’s degree for a 40-hour-per-week position, limited to 4 years, with the following tasks and research profile:

Job Duties::

Research in areas of Health Services Research, Gender Medicine and Health Economics
Writing a dissertation
Participation in the department's research activities
Participation in teaching activities of the department
(Co-)supervision of bachelor and master thesis

Your Qualifications::

The successful candidate must hold a diploma/master’s degree in the field of health economics, data science, or a related field
Excellent skills in programming and econometric methods
Interest in empirical research in the field of Health Services Research, Gender Medicine as well as interdisciplinary research
Excellent command of English (level C1), good command of German (Level B2)
Communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and in a well-organized manner
