Job Duties::

Independent research and writing of a dissertation in the field of sociology
Assuming teaching responsibilities at the institute
Assisting with administrative tasks at the institute, particularly in working at committees and knowledge transfer

Your Qualifications::

The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in sociology or a related social science discipline
Solid methodological skills in interpretive or reconstructive social research; knowledge of empirical subjectivation analysis is a plus
Expertise in the fields of the sociology of knowledge, science skepticism, and the sociology of sustainability and the climate crisis
Ability to independently plan, conduct, and write up research projects; initial experience with submitting grant proposals is an asset
Teaching skills and a strong commitment to the further development of innovative university teaching; initial teaching experience is desirable
Experience in sociological contract research in collaboration with companies is an asset
Proficiency in German and English (C1 level)
Teamwork and interest in international networking

On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,776.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
