The School of Medicine at Johannes Kepler University Linz is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is sending a strong signal of its commitment to advancing basic research. As part of a targeted initiative, the school is calling for proposals to establish six Young Research Groups. The goal is to give outstanding early-career researchers the opportunity to establish independent research groups in cutting-edge medical fields.
Funding is available for outstanding projects in the following research areas:
• Neuroscience
• Cardiovascular and metabolic diseases
• Medical Artificial Intelligence
• Inflammation medicine
• Developmental medicine
• Cancer medicine
The Clinical Research Institute for Medical Artificial Intelligence (KFI MAI) is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher with international research experience to establish and lead an independent early-career research group in the field of medical artificial intelligence. The group will be supported by two pre-doctoral researchers and is expected to make innovative, scientifically excellent contributions to a key research focus of the Faculty of Medicine.
