Job Duties::

Independent research in the field of symbolic artificial intelligence, computational logic, or automated theorem proving
Conducting a dissertation as part of the work
Participation in research projects
Participation in teaching: co-organization and co-supervision of exercises, seminars, internships, bachelor's and master's theses on research-related topics

Your Qualifications::

The successful candidate must hold a diploma or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related fields
Knowledge in symbolic artificial intelligence, computational logic or automatic reasoning
Solid programming skills (system programming)
Enthusiasm for research and teaching
Experience teaching university courses
Full command of German and English (German level C1, English level B2)
Very good communicative skills and team competences
Experience with parallel and distributed QBF solving
Experience with quantified boolean formulas

On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,776.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
