Job Duties::

  • Independent research in the field of symbolic artificial intelligence, computational logic, or automated theorem proving
  • Conducting a dissertation as part of the work
  • Participation in research projects
  • Participation in teaching: co-organization and co-supervision of exercises, seminars, internships, bachelor's and master's theses on research-related topics

Your Qualifications::

  • The successful candidate must hold a diploma or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related fields
  • Knowledge in symbolic artificial intelligence, computational logic or automatic reasoning
  • Solid programming skills (system programming)
  • Enthusiasm for research and teaching
  • Experience teaching university courses
  • Full command of German and English (German level C1, English level B2)
  • Very good communicative skills and team competences
  • Experience with parallel and distributed QBF solving
  • Experience with quantified boolean formulas
