Job Duties::

  • Independent research in the field of symbolic artificial intelligence, computational logic, or automated theorem proving
  • Conducting a dissertation as part of the work
  • Participation in research projects
  • Participation in teaching: co-organization and co-supervision of exercises, seminars, internships, bachelor's and master's theses on research-related topics

Your Qualifications::

  • The successful candidate must hold a diploma or master's degree in mathematics (preferred), computer science, or related fields
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of neuro-symbolic AI, particularly in logic, algebra, and machine learning
  • Solid programming skills in Python or C/C++
  • Enthusiasm for research and teaching
  • Solid knowledge of German and English (German language level B2, English language level B2+)
  • Motivation for completing a Ph.D. degree
  • good communication and team skills
