Job Duties::

  • Conduct independent research in applied microeconomics, particularly labor market economics, with the goal of completing a cumulative PhD thesis in economics.
  • Develop methodological expertise in microeconometric methods.
  • Contribute to the teaching activities of the institute in applied microeconomics, either in German or English.

Your Qualifications::

  • The successful candidate must hold a diploma or master's degree in economics or econometrics.
  • Interest in applied microeconomics, particulalry labor market economics.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken (level C1).
  • German language skills are not required.
  • Outstanding programming skills in Stata, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
