Job Duties::

  • Collaboration on the institute’s research priorities, particularly in the areas of regularization theory for inverse problems and the development of methods in the fields of medical imaging, adaptive optics, astronomy, microscopy, and climate modeling
  • Collaboration on existing joint projects with industry partners
  • Teaching courses at a high qualitative level
  • Possibility of completing a post-doctoral lecture qualification (Habilitation)

Your Qualifications::

  • The candidate must have a completed Doctoral degree (PhD) in a mathematical discipline
  • Excellent knowledge of applied mathematics, especially in the field of inverse problems
  • Successful publication of scientific articles in relevant peer-reviewed journals
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (Minimum level B2+)
  • Programming experience (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C)
