Job Duties::

  • Conducting courses and examinations (primarily in tutorials and practicals) in Computer Science at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level, in total for 16 hours of contact time per week, with a focus on software development, compiler construction, and system software
  • Assisting with the supervision of project practicals, projects in software engineering, and of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
  • Independent development and refinement of teaching materials, exercises, exams, and supporting materials
  • Supporting research and administration

Your Qualifications::

  • The candidate must have a completed doctorate or PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in the above mentioned areas
  • Teaching experience in the areas of Software Development, Compilers, and System Software (preferably with teaching evaluation results)
  • Experience with digital teaching tools (Moodle, Xaminer, etc.)
  • Excellent German und English (German proficiency at level C1, English at level B2)
  • Excellent commitment, independent working style, and team work skills

  • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 5,014.30 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
