Job Duties::

  • Demand planning, selection, operation and maintenance of hardware and software systems
  • Maintenance and support of the existing PC pools, networks and services
  • Supporting the institute members in the application of these systems
  • Extension and administration of the institute websites (Jekyll/Github Pages/Wordpress/Typo3
  • AWS Cluster and custom server infrastructure maintenance (Linux)
  • Technical organization of invited talks/livestreams
  • Implementation of small software solutions (in C++, Python, Java, etc.) desired, but not required

Your Qualifications::

  • Matura or completed Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in system administration (Windows/Linux/MacOS)
  • Experience working with network and cloud systems (AWS, Cisco)
  • Programing experience (Web and application development) desirable
  • Engagement
  • Very good knowledge of German (Level C1) and English (B2)

  • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,131.30 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: IIIb)
