Job Duties::

  • Independent research activities within the research field of the interdisciplinary Lab and in cooperation with the Institute for Comprehensive Analysis of the Economy at JKU
  • Focus on dimensions of socio-ecological transformation (e.g., socioeconomic, ecological, global inequality)
  • Contributing to the organizational development and knowledge transfer of the Lab
  • Designing, preparing, and conducting courses
  • Contributing to the initiation of third-party funded projects and the consolidation of strategic partnerships
  • Participation in academic self-administration
  • Opportunity to work on a doctoral dissertation

Your Qualifications::

  • Excellent or very good Master's degree in Political Economy, Socioeconomics, Sociology, Economics, or a related field
  • Initial research experience (preferably evidenced by completed publication projects)
  • Willingness to engage in inter- and transdisciplinary research collaborations
  • Qualitative or quantitative methodological competence in the areas mentioned above (mixed methods preferred)
  • Active engagement in scientific communities
  • Very good German and English language skills (level B2+)
