Job Duties::

  • Conduct research within the fields of games user research, games analytics, player support tools, and/or gameplay visualization
  • Collaborating in research projects at the institute
  • Publishing scientific articles in renowned international conferences and journals
  • Public dissemination and presentations at conferences
  • Co-supervision of students, e.g., Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
  • Assisting in acquiring further research funding
  • Contributing to the teaching and organizational activities of the department

Your Qualifications::

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in computer science or related fields
  • Excellent academic skills with a clear interest in games research
  • Have excellent knowledge of, or being willing to familiarize yourself, with current research in analytics, HCI and/or information visualization
  • Highly motivated and interest in working interdisciplinary
  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written (level C1) and good knowledge of German is an advantage (level B1, but not mandatory)
