Job Duties::

  • Independent and collaborative research in the project "NaMoKi – Sustainable Mobility of Children and Adolescents in Central and Southern Burgenland" (Project Lead: Univ.-Prof. Uli Meyer; Funding Agency: FFG)
  • Qualitative empirical research on the mobility of children and adolescents in Central and Southern Burgenland
  • Design, implementation, and analysis of expert interviews and stakeholder workshops
  • Socio-technical support and contribution to the development of an AI-based mobility concept
  • Publication of project results in international academic journals
  • Presentation of project results at academic conferences; further development of training concepts

Your Qualifications::

  • Master's degree/Diploma or Doctorate in Sociology or a related discipline
  • Excellent knowledge of qualitative methods in social research
  • Strong knowledge of or high interest in socio-technical studies, Science & Technology Studies, and social science research on digitalization and mobility
  • Research experience
  • Excellent proficiency in German and English (C1 level)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

What We Offer::

  • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,714.80 gross per month as a Scientific Project Assistant holding a Diploma/Master’s degree and € 4,932.90 gross per month as a Scientific Project Assistant holding a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
