Until the new professorship for clinical psychology and psychotherapy starts, the position will be based in the Department of Health Psychology. Once the new professorship starts, the position will be assigned to this new professorship with the option of extension.

Job Duties::

  • Independent research in the field of clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and/or health psychology
  • Design, preparation, and implementation of courses
  • Supervision of theses
  • Participation in the establishment of the master's program in psychotherapy
  • Participation in the research of the Department of Health Psychology is desirable
  • Organizational tasks in the Department of Health Psychology

Your Qualifications::

  • excellent or very good Ph.D. in psychology or an equivalent doctorate with a clearly psychological-scientific dissertation topic
  • High level of interest and enjoyment in research in the field of clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and/or health psychology
  • Teaching skills and experience in psychological teaching
  • Ability to work responsibly and independently, high level of personal commitment, communication and cooperation skills (including interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills (desirable at least level C1)
  • License to practice (Approbation) or ongoing training in psychotherapy is an advantage
  • Experience in setting up studies/curriculum development is an advantage
