As part of a research project on open-source tools for Electronic Design Automation (EDA), funded by the European Union and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), we are looking for a motivated research associate.
Job Duties::
- Conduct research in circuit and system design, with a focus on analysis and debugging
- Further develop and integrate the Waveform Analysis Language (WAL) with waveform viewer Surfer
- Prepare scientific publications for recognized international conferences and journals
- Present project results at academic conferences and workshops
- Close collaboration with project partners from academia and industry
- Opportunity to develop a PhD thesis within the framework of the project
Your Qualifications::
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in computer science or related fields
- Excellent accademic skills and strong interest in Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
- Strong expertise in hardware design and verification
- Goood knowledge of imperative programming languages, especially Python, Rust and C++
- High motivation and interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong initiative and ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent English language skills (minimum level B2), German language skills are not required
