Job Duties::

Preparation of a dissertation in the field of statistics
Support in administration
Teaching own courses
Participation in the department's research projects

Your Qualifications::

The successful candidate must hold a completed diploma or master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, (bio-)informatics or a related field
Very good knowledge of statistics
Very good programming skills (preferably R; possibly Python, C++, Matlab)
Interest and ideally experience in the development of methods in demography
Own scientific interest
Very good knowledge of the English language (level C1)
German language skills are not mandatory
Communication and teamwork skills

What We Offer::

On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,776.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1). At 30 hours per week, the pay amounts to three quarters of the full-time salary.
